Use of Calculators on Standardized Tests

Important note about using calculators on standardized tests: Be sure that you check to see exactly which calculators are allowed on the math portion of the exam for which you are registered.  The approved list of calculators is not the same for all exams.  This list in included with the information that you receive upon registration.  Make certain that you use an approved calculator with which you are familiar.  Trying to use a brand new calculator or one borrowed from a friend can do you more harm than good, so it's best to use a calculator that you have been using all along in your math courses.
